How casting works
The steps, in the order they happen.
Send your card
Name, contact, measurements in cm, date of birth and two or three photos. Unretouched is fine.
We read every card
We cast from applications, not agencies, and reply to everyone we shortlist.
Booking and ID check
18 and over only. Government photo ID checked before anyone is booked.
In writing first
Garment list and shot list in writing before the shoot.
Shoot day
Call time, breaks, meals and wrap set out on your call sheet.
Payment
Liozuvyeni pays you. You never pay us.

Lingerie is only ever on a list you agreed to in writing before you were booked. It is never added on the day, and saying no to it never affects any other booking.

How do I get a visa?
Which visa?
One that allows paid work
Not a tourist visa, a business visa or any e-Visa. Our immigration lawyer tells you which, in writing.
Who applies?
You, with our papers
At the Indian embassy or visa centre where you live. We send the booking letter, invitation and company documents.
When do I fly?
Once the visa is in your passport
Embassies often take two to three weeks. We book flights and hotel only after the visa is issued.
Never come for a paid shoot on a tourist visa or an e-Visa. It can mean being refused entry or sent home.
What about my health?

If you were in or passed through a country on India’s yellow fever list in the 6 days before landing, you need a valid certificate. It counts from 10 days after the dose. MoHFW

Confusion, hot dry skin or fainting is an emergency. Call 112.

No. We cast from applications rather than through agencies. New faces are as welcome as working models, and unretouched photographs are fine: two at least, three if you have them.

We look at every card that comes in, and we reply to everyone we shortlist for a shoot.
We keep your details on file for the next season, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

No. No dinner, party or private meeting is ever part of a booking. Your free time is your own. Your phone stays with you.

Yes. Your phone stays with you. The only rule is no photographs or filming in the changing area.

On set we work in English.
TravelCan I bring someone with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring someone you trust. We do not pay their flights or their stay.
Your picturesWhere will the pictures be used, and for how long?
Your booking letter names who uses the pictures, where, in which countries and for how long, and you get the release to read before the shoot.
We never use your pictures to make or train AI images of you.
Your picturesCan I use the pictures in my own portfolio?
Yes, you can use the pictures in your own portfolio.
MessagesHow do I know a message is really from Liozuvyeni?
We contact you only by email from casting@liozuvyeni.com.
We never ask you to pay us, or anyone we name. We never ask for card numbers, PINs or online-banking logins.
We may ask for one picture in swimwear or fitted clothing, through the card only. Never nude, topless or lingerie-only pictures, and never by direct message.
If a message breaks any of these, it is not from us.

From abroad
SafetyIs it safe for a young woman to travel to India for this?
Before you fly you get the name, photo and phone number of the person meeting you. They hold a sign with your name.
A return e-ticket in your name, and a room of your own in a registered hotel, booked in your name. Both are sent to you before you fly, so you or your family can confirm them with the airline and the hotel.
Before you travel, we send you and your family a trip card: the name, photo and phone number of the person meeting you, your hotel, each shoot address, a number answered at any hour for the whole trip, and a second name behind it.
In an emergency anywhere in India, call 112. Read your own government's advice for India too.
TravelWhat if I want to come home early, or decide not to go?
If you decide not to travel, or want to come home early, you do not repay travel or hotel costs.
VisaHow do I get a visa?
A paid shoot needs a visa that allows paid work. India's official e-Visa site says “e-Visa is not allowed for employment”. You apply yourself, in person, at your Indian embassy or consulate, and nobody can promise a visa.
